Vacancy for a General Council Court Assessor

A vacancy will arise for a General Council Court Assessor to serve on the governing body of the University, the University Court, for a 4 year term from August 1st, 2021

This is an important opportunity to be involved in matters of fundamental concern to the University as it faces the challenges of adaptation and renewal in the wake of the pandemic.

Expressions of interest are sought from members of the General Council (not currently staff or students) who have Board level experience in large complex organisations, with senior executive skills and experience in one or more of: - estates; human resources; I.T.; commercialisation/industry research ; the international environment.

The postholder becomes ex officio a member of the General Council’s Business Committee. Information about the relationship of the role to the Business Committee can be viewed below:
