Questions for the Principal The purpose of General Council meetings is to allow consideration of matters affecting the wellbeing and prosperity of the University through the reports presented. All General Council members are warmly encouraged to engage actively with these matters, for example by asking questions, making comments or suggestions. in doing so members are asked to identify themselves by name and membership credentials e.g. degree and year of graduation for graduate members. Questions can be raised in advance by email to the General Council Office. Instructions for raising questions on the day are circulated with the arrangements for the event in Billet. We are keen to build active relationships with individual members and associations of University of Edinburgh graduates from around the world, who are encouraged to get in touch with us and to join these events online.
