General Council Half-Yearly Meeting - Saturday 17 February 2024 The next statutory meeting of the General Council will take place in the McEwan Hall at 10.30am on Saturday 17 February 2023 when the Principal, Professor Sir Peter Mathieson, will present the Annual Report of the University and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. The formal proceedings will be followed by a sit down lunch in the impressive surroundings of the Playfair Library Hall where General Council members and their guests can also enjoy a stimulating presentation from an invited guest speaker. Further details including the Agenda and Papers for the meeting and how to register for the Lunch will be published in due course. General Council meetings are open to all General Council members and are free to attend. Those attending are asked to sign the Register on the day.
